Cobram has suffered its first league defeat since April after falling to Wodonga Heart 3-1.
The Roar had won five consecutive games heading into Sunday’s clash, but saw that winning streak come to an end.
A win would have seen Cobram move into top spot on the table, but instead the Roar slipped from second down to third.

Cobram has picked up back-to-back wins after defeating Wodonga Heart 2-1.
The result is the Roar’s seventh win of the season and solidifies their spot in the top four.

Cobram continued its perfect start to the season with a strong 3-1 win away from home.
The Roar have won all 10 of their games so far in 2023, an impressive hot streak that has them five points clear on top of the table.
The two-goal triumph was Cobram’s second win over the Heart in three weeks.

The Roar played another solid game in trying conditions. Cobram had to adapt to the slow ball conditions, which made passing difficult, and striking slow.
Roar adapted to the conditions mid-way through the first half and went from strength to strength.
The forward line was rotated, giving multiple players an opportunity to attempt shooting at goal.
Lucy Wilkins scored goal of the match. The Hearts came back with one late goal with Roar winning 6-1.

Cobram suffered its eighth defeat of the season at the weekend after falling to league-leaders Wodonga Heart.
It was a much improved performance from the Roar, however, who suffered a 16-0 loss to the Heart in their previous meeting.

Cobram has played out a thrilling contest against Wodonga, with goals aplenty at both ends of the pitch. Despite finding the back of the net four times, the Roar suffered their first defeat in their last four games.

The under-12s proved too strong for Wodonga Heart.
The team’s performance was technically strong, penetrating the opposition’s defence and coming away with an 8-0 win.
