Boorhaman (Dale Robinson, Darren Saward, Cathy Van Berlo) continued their strong form with an impressive victory over Everton Red (Sam Bennett, Russell Bennett, Susie Bennett, Mel Hellebrand) on Saturday.
Both teams shared the early points, but on the crossover, Boorhaman stamped their authority on the match — winning both sets and taking a seven-game advantage into the final two sets. Everton struck early to claim the first of those sets, but Boorhaman rallied to secure the last and finish six games clear.

In the other Section A clash, Everton Blue (Andy Lucas, Tim Dickinson, Jo Lucas, Robert Voss) held off a fast-finishing Wang Hardcourt (Mario Pane, Matt Lucas, Kelly Clarkson, Kylie Doig) to win by seven games.
Everton Blue started strongly, jumping out to a 3–0 lead in sets and building a 15-game advantage with three sets remaining. Hardcourt, as quality teams do, found their rhythm late and began to claw back, but the early lead proved too much to overcome.

Wooragee Blue impress against Wahnation
Wooragee Blue (Dean Bensted, Mark Knoth, Eiylish McRostie, Mick McRostie) were highly impressive in their victory over a star-studded Wahnation line-up (Scott Wilson, Kane Palmer, Andrew Palmer, Mareeta Corcoran).
The teams traded sets early, and with two sets to play, Wooragee held a narrow one-game advantage with the match evenly poised at two sets all. From there, Wooragee powered away to record a convincing win.

Deep Heat fight back against Corowa
Wahgunyah Deep Heat (Will Bergin, Josh Reid, Katie Bergin, Kendall Reid) overcame an early deficit to defeat a gallant Corowa team (Shane Quirk, Joel Bilney, Oscar Rowe, Hudson Bilney).
Corowa started strongly, winning the opening two sets to raise hopes of an upset. However, Deep Heat fought back to level the match with two sets to play, then sealed the result with an 8–2 win while the final set was still underway. In the end, Deep Heat triumphed by six games.
