The match began as a closely contested battle, with both sides trading chances early. At half time the scoreboard read 2-1 in Cobram’s favour, with Wodonga Heart applying plenty of pressure and keeping the game well within reach.
However, a motivating half time address from coaches Michael and ‘Fonz’ sparked a dominant second-half performance from the Cobram boys. The team returned to the field with renewed energy and quickly took control of the match, piling on goals and shutting down their opposition.
