Last weekend’s semi-finals produced a mixed bag for Cobram Roar, with highs and lows throughout the club.
The Division 2 men came out 2-1 against the Wodonga Heart in a well-played match, while the Division 3 men kicked one goal to ensure success against the Wodonga Diamonds.
However, the club stars were, without a doubt, the U14 girls who thrashed the Wodonga Diamonds 3-0.
There were also tears among the triumphs, with both U16 and the U12 both losing, the latter in a match that can only be described as nail-biting.
The Twin City Wanderers beat the U16 3-1 to clinch victory.
The Cobram Roar and Wodonga Diamonds U12 was the game to see, though both sides were unable to find the net after full-time.
However, in a tense penalty shootout, the Wodonga team scored 5-4 to come out triumphant.
