The club recently announced that Marshall would return to Cobram to be head coach of the division one men’s side in the 2026 season.
Club president Chris Gash said he was thrilled to have Marshall on board.
“His knowledge of the game and commitment to developing local talent align perfectly with the vision of Cobram Roar FC,” Gash said.
“We’re looking forward to an exciting season ahead under his tutelage.”
It’s a full-circle moment for Marshall, who got his start in Australia playing in a premiership-winning Cobram Victory side in 2012.
He later played with the Cobram Roar up to 2017, where he finished third in the AWFA League Star Player vote count.
For the past five years, he has honed his craft as technical director at the GV Suns, where he played a vital part in developing the club’s long-term strategic direction and development.
While Marshall has stepped into the head coaching role at Cobram, he played seven games towards the back end of the 2025 season with the division one men and the over-35s.
