An open day at Pigdons Holden on Sunday gave the opportunity for passionate Holden owners to have a photo opportunity of their prized Holden at Pigdons.
The day was organised just prior to the Holden signage being removed from the showroom in order that the rebranding to Ford can take place in the near future.
Approximately four million dollars of classic Holdens were on display. Owners took up the opportunity provided by Pigdons to have their photo taken with their pride and joy.
Owners came from as far away as Melbourne.
Andrew Pigdon said “it was a fantastic day” as Holden buffs swapped stories and reminisced about their own Holden journey.
Everyone was in great spirits, albeit with a twinge of sadness as they witnessed the unique occasion of the closure of one of Australia’s greatest icons in Yarrawonga.
“Holden parts, servicing and warranty will continue to be provided at the Benalla Road premises,” Mr Pigdon said.
