Batting at number three for the first XI, the 17-year-old prodigy confidently on-drove the third delivery for a boundary, eventually compiling a solid 33 against Melbourne University.
Jobe helped his side haul in the required 180 runs to chalk up a victory.
He was named in the Cricket Australia Under 17 Team of the Carnival following the Cricket Australia National Championships in Launceston in January this year.
Representing Vic Country, the talented left-hand batsman made centuries against Tasmania and the Northern Territory.
Jobe was the third leading run scorer for the carnival making 257 at an average of 43 and is a handy leg spinner.
He is grateful for the support of the Yarrawonga Mulwala Cricket Club as he graduated through the junior grades, playing in a B Grade (2020/21) premiership and A Reserve (2021/22) premiership before making his A Grade debut at 14 years of age in 2022.
