The Demons travelled to take on a strong opposition.
The girls got off to a great start, taking it right up to Katandra in the opening quarter and showing plenty of determination throughout the game.
Although the result didn’t go our way, the girls can be proud of their effort, teamwork and determination against quality opposition.
With a few more favourable match-ups over the coming weeks, the team is looking forward to building on this performance and hopefully coming away with a few well-deserved wins.
Awards: Ruby Neessen, Eden Hercus, and Miley Conn.

Luckily B-grade brought their running shoes on Saturday for what was a fast-paced, high-scoring contest. The girls came out firing, playing another phenomenal first
quarter to take a two-goal lead. Unfortunately, they couldn’t maintain the momentum for the full four quarters and were overrun late, finishing with a loss.
A special mention to Heidi Bryce, who earned the BOC, covering the court tirelessly from start to finish.
The girls now look forward to a well-earned bye before returning refreshed to take on Strathy at home.

From the first whistle, the teams were goal for goal, but the momentum was not maintained and Jerilderie’s passing was their shortfall throughout the game.
The players never dropped their heads and made some amazing play down the court throughout the game.

This was a friendly, yet competitive clash in sunny conditions. The Demons were able to get plenty of the ball, however inaccurate passing, crowding in bunches and some inaccurate shooting against a very tall defence allowed the home team to jump out to a commanding lead at half-time.
The second half was an entirely different story. The Demons were focused, found space and rallied in a fabulous team effort that saw a much tighter contest and score line. Credit must be given for never dropping their heads and finishing stronger with a positive attitude.
Tilly Helps made the move into WD, which added extra pressure to the Katandra attackers and created movement out of defence for the Dees, earning her the BOC award.
Awards: Del McMillan, Brooke Pitt, and Tilly Heaps.

The Dees went into this game knowing it could be a tough contest against Katandra, and the team started strongly in the first quarter.
Unfortunately, passing let the team down for the remainder of the game, making it difficult to maintain momentum.
While the game ended in a loss, there are still plenty of positives to takeaway.
The shooters worked hard and moved well against some very strong defenders, creating opportunities despite the pressure.
The midcourt never stopped working, putting pressure on down the court, and the defenders also put in a determined effort against some very accurate shooters, fighting until the final whistle and never giving up.
There are a few areas to focus on at training, but the team's effort and determination throughout the game were encouraging.
Awards: BOC Chelsea Hibbert, Stella Williams, Ruby Neessen, and Teagan Aylett.

An early start proved worthwhile as the Demons came away with a well-deserved 26–16 victory.
It was a fantastic game to watch, with both teams playing at a fast pace and moving the ball well.
It was a terrific team performance from the girls, who played with confidence, composure and great teamwork.
Awards: BOC Sama Swaid, Ivy Conn, Jacinta Eldridge, and Lexie Bryce.

A fantastic team performance saw a 37–15 win over Katandra.
The team worked together brilliantly, applying consistent pressure from the opening whistle right through to the final siren. Their teamwork and determination were on display all game.
It was a well-deserved win, and while there are still plenty of areas to keep improving at training, the team's effort was outstanding.
Under 11s: Not scored.
A fantastic game against Katandra.
With the club congratulating all the girls on another great team performance.
