One of Cobram’s founding parkrun runners reached a milestone at the weekend.

Gary Smith celebrated his 300th parkrun at Thompsons Beach on Saturday, August 30, finishing 10th out of a total of 52 runners and walkers.
Since first getting involved in parkrun in 2016, Smith has tallied 221 runs at Cobram, with runs also at Parkville, Rooty Hill and Altona Beach.
Smith has volunteered a total of 269 times, including 139 set-ups, 68 event directorships and 55 run directorships.
