Katandra delivered one of the most dominant performances of the Picola District Football League season, dismantling Rennie by a staggering 147 points to further strengthen its premiership credentials.

The hosts were ruthless from the outset at Katandra Recreation Reserve, piling on 27.17 (179) while restricting the visitors to just 5.2 (32) in a round nine performance that reverberated around the region.
At the heart of the destruction was the free-scoring Joshua Kezerle, who produced a remarkable 10-goal haul in one of the top individual displays of the campaign.
The Kats’ No. 7 proved impossible to contain inside attacking 50, repeatedly finding space and capitalising on the avalanche of opportunities created by his side's midfield dominance.
The result was effectively settled by half-time as the PDL title chasers exploded for 14.11 (95) before the main break while the Hoppers could muster only 3.0 (18), leaving the visitors facing a mountain to climb.
Rather than easing off, the Kats turned the screws after the interval, adding another 13 goals across the second half to complete a percentage-boosting victory.
Bailey Bell and Henry Wedding proved deadly with three goals apiece, while Fletcher Paul, Thomas Jeffery and Luke Turcato each finished with a brace each.
Harrison Willaton, Mitchell McGrath, Hayden Kruse, Joel Costa and Henry Cook also hit the scoreboard as Katandra showcased its impressive spread of attacking talent.
For Rennie, Lewis Taylor and Denver Bruce battled hard with two goals each, while Taylor, Josh Soutter, Dillon Kirchen, Owen Cope, Corey Bourke and Will Taylor were among the visitors' better contributors during a difficult afternoon.
Elsewhere, Jerilderie produced an impressive 24-point victory over Tungamah, while ladder leaders Waaia defeated Berrigan by 18 points.
Tocumwal registered a 44-point win against Blighty, and Katamatite comfortably dispatched of Mathoura by 95 points.
Meanwhile Strathmerton proved too strong for Katunga, prevailing by 77 points, while Deni Rovers defeated Dookie United by 49 points, as Barooga also secured an important 36-point victory over Picola United.
In the PDL Netball A-Grade action, the standout results came as title chasers Tocumwal crushed Blighty 86-28 and ladder pacesetters Tungamah overpowered Jerilderie 69-27.
Katamatite also enjoyed an impressive afternoon, defeating Mathoura 61-23, while Katandra continued its strong form with a convincing 57-35 victory over Rennie.
Waaia rounded out the big winners with a comfortable 54-27 success against Berrigan, as Picola United secured an important 46-38 win over Barooga and Dookie United edged Deni Rovers 31-26 in a tight contest.
The closest game of the round came at Strathmerton, where the Bulldogs held on to defeat Katunga by a solitary goal, with that entertaining spectacle ending 33-32.
