In ideal conditions, from the first whistle, the players were pumped and rearing to go.
They controlled the game for the entirety of the match, and the way training drills were used was impressive.
It was an awesome way to finish a difficult season.

B-grade: Finley 46 def Barooga 41.
The team finished the season strong with an exciting win against Barooga.
The Cats had an excellent first quarter, leading 15-4, before Barooga fought back to narrow the margin to five goals at half-time, then it was a goal the difference at the final change.
But Finley were able to get in front in the final term.
Despite lots of injuries this season, B-grade have grown as a team, particularly at both ends of the court.

C-grade: Finley 59 def Barooga 36.
After a draw last time these sides met, Finley finished off a tough season with a great win.
Everyone worked hard to get the team over the line, with the attackers dominating to earn the awards.
Paula Gowans, who dominated multiple opponents and fought hard all game, was best of court.
Taesharn Crowe also won an award for great passing and shooting, with skills well beyond her age.
C-reserve: Finley 24 def by Barooga 40.
Although the girls wanted to finish the year with a win, Barooga were too accurate.
Awards: Mandy Fleming (BOC), Piper Pyle.
Under-17s: Finley 58 def Barooga 30.
The Cats finished the home-and-away season on a high with a strong performance against Barooga.
From the first whistle, the girls were positive, composed, and played true team netball. They listened to feedback and continued to grow with every quarter.
Plenty of changes were made across the game to give players exposure in different positions, which showed our depth and versatility heading into finals.
Each player stepped up in and showed their true ability in every combination that was trialled.
Now the focus shifts to this week, taking on Deniliquin, in Deni, for the elimination final.

Under-15s: Finley 49 def Barooga 21.
It was a cracking way to end the season. The players hit the court like they had nothing to lose and played well from start to finish.
Importantly, the girls have discovered that winning feels good and losing can hurt, but who you are and how you show up, whether you win or lose, makes all the difference.
Friendship and support for one another is what will be remembered, long after the scoreboard fades.
A huge thank you to the parents, families and supporters who braved the weather, cheered from the sidelines and kept the encouragement flowing throughout the season.

Under-13s: Finley 8 def by Barooga 31.
It was a tough game against Barooga, but the girls pushed through the warm weather.
A lot of change in positions for the final game, and the players adapted well.
Under-11s: Not scored.
It’s been a wonderful year for the youngest Cats.
They have come so far from the start of the season and have started in their recognised positions and then progressed to positions they have never tried. It was a fun season.
