In defence, Ella Park once again demonstrated her strength and agility, shutting down the opposition with smart, composed play.

B-grade: Mulwala 44 def Rams 36.
B-grade came out strong with a fast start against a consistent Mulwala side.
Several positional rotations highlighted the team’s versatility and adaptability on court.
While scoring opportunities were hard to convert, the girls never gave up and showed great determination right to the final whistle.

C-grade: Mulwala 48 def Rams 16.
It was a big Saturday again for C-grade, playing against one of the stronger sides in this division.
There were still lots of positives and impressive game plays to reflect on.
Mid-court players Hilary Porter, Rose Nevinson and Georgie McCalman were able to achieve countless turnovers and pressure on ball which is great to see.
Melanie Edwards, who has been a key centre player for the season, played exceptionally well. Definitely a player the girls can count on to be there at both ends of the court.
Maggie McCalman continued to prove her valued experience in the team, providing many intercepts and deflections, alongside her strong and versatile defence partner, Eliza Atley.
Mia Jenkins and Bella White once again proved their ability to be a fierce shooting duo and worked tirelessly all game.

C-reserve: Mulwala 36 def Rams 26.
C-reserve put up a strong fight in their clash against Mulwala, showing impressive determination and teamwork throughout the game.
After being neck-and-neck in the first half, the team began to tire in the second, allowing Mulwala to gradually pull away and secure a win.
Despite the loss, the team delivered a much more settled performance, with great passages of play and cohesive teamwork across the court.
The defensive end was a standout, consistently pressuring the Mulwala attack and racking up several crucial turnovers.
Keely Hussey was a formidable force under the ring, using her height and timing to challenge every shot.
In the mid-court, Macy Butcher played a brilliant game, driving play forward and playing a key role in transitioning the ball cleanly through the court.
Abbey Doncon provided a calming presence in the shooting circle, displaying accuracy and composure throughout the match.

Under-17s: Rams 55 def Mulwala 37.
The Rams put together a consistent four quarters on Saturday to defeat a fast and well drilled Mulwala side.
The Rams’ full court defensive pressure proved difficult for Mulwala and resulted in numerous turnovers, allowing for a 21-9 lead at the first quarter break.
Ava Marshall and Alice Circuitt combined well in defence whilst at the other end of court the Rams had a high conversion rate in goals.
Phoebe Newman demonstrated a strong presence in the goaling circle with impressive accuracy.

Under-15s: Mulwala 34 def Rams 26.
A strong effort from the under-15s, where they created good passages of play throughout the game.
The girls fought hard for the four quarters and combined well as a team showing a lot of encouragement for each other.
Olivia Jeffrey had a solid performance in attack, with strong holds and shooting accurately.
Emma Wettenhall and Bella Hillier worked tirelessly in defence, creating many turnovers and providing lots of drive through the mid-court.

Under-13s: Mulwala 35 def Rams 5.
Facing a physical and well-drilled side, the girls encountered some early difficulties.
Tactical adjustments after the first quarter proved instrumental.
Despite the challenges, the girls demonstrated resilience and improvement over the four quarters.
Noteworthy performances were recognised, with awards going to Chloe Marshall, Killarni Macdonald and Zara O’Donnell.
Under-11s: Not scored.
The team displayed excellent court awareness from defence to attack, moving the ball smoothly and with confidence.
Shooting was sharp and accurate, with plenty of great teamwork on display throughout the match. A true whole-team effort.
