Despite having the weekend off due to the bye, Puckett revealed the atmosphere was buzzing around the Albury-Wodonga Football Association club.
The senior men recently walked away with a 4-1 win against Melrose, while the club's senior women's outfit occupies top spot on the division two ladder.
The Roarettes blitzed Wodonga Heart at the weekend and claimed a stunning 3-1 triumph.
A brace to Jess Gannaway was the highlight of the win, while Beth Oliver chimed in and found the back of the net.
And the youth are shining bright too, with the under-17 boys and under-14 girls outfits both sitting in fourth spot.
“It is really great to see the other sides at the club performing well,” Puckett said.
“The women's side are on fire and the under-17s and under-14s have been great. The future is bright.
“The atmosphere has been picking up in the senior men side, we are feeling really positive after our win over Melrose. It is amazing what a win does.”
Although Puckett conceded this season had been "underwhelming" for the senior side, he was hoping to build on the momentum from Melrose for the rest of the campaign.
“The results haven't been in our favour so far,” he said.
“Hopefully we can get some wins under the belt moving forward. The bye didn't help with momentum.
“We face Albury Hotspurs this weekend. They have been a bit of a dark horse and it will be an important game for us.
``We know we have to win to challenge for finals, we know what is at stake.”
Last weekend's round 14 action saw Cobram Roar on the road again, taking on Wodonga Heart at Willow Park.
The division one men and under-14 girls had a bye this week.

Cobram Roar 3 d Wodonga Heart 1
Roar was on the road once again in testing cold, wet weather conditions.
The game that was expected to be a blockbuster for our women's team did not disappoint with many highs and lows throughout the game - it was a be there to see it type of game.
The women started a touch slow with the testing conditions with constant pressure being applied by Heart the Roar continued to defend, unfortunately the constant pressure our Roarettes come unstuck with a miss kick in the box going to a Heart attacker who put them 1-0 ahead.
The Roarettes were having none of it and became a very aggressive side physically and attacking the ball a couple chances missed by Beth Oliver and Jess Gannaway, the side had to settle for a 1-0 defeat in the first half.
Coach Taner Tekin pushed the women at half-time to fire up to get a win.
The second half was going to be a nail biting - all or nothing effort by the women - and that it was, starting with Monique Goegan, who lead the charge, putting effort into tackles and ball contests.
This effort was soon followed by all of the Roarettes, which saw a great bit of play by Tiarnna Gannaway who put a class ball into the box for Beth Oliver to finish and put the ball in the back of the net to equalise the game at 1–1.
The Roarettes fired up and showed their true colours of who they are started to shine.
A team effort across the ground, with every player putting in heart and soul to getting something out of the game and, with only 12 minutes left, the Roarettes hit a new level for 2021 and the supporters were cheering.
The players delivered classy football with Jess Gannaway take her chance and secure Roar’s second goal, taking the game into a 1-2 lead for Roar.
With four minutes left, the Roarettes were not done with great ball movement from the defence into the midfield into the forward had Jess Gannaway in the box beating one defender and the keeper to put the icing on the cake for a 3-1 victory and consolidate the side's position at the top of the table.
