Tony Cincotta and Dave Arazuhaldzic have burst out of the gates and started season 2024 in outstanding style.

Both players are outstanding ball potters and, when their confidence levels are up, are extremely difficult to beat.
It is also fair to say that pace of play is never an issue when either Tony or Dave is at the table.
Tony defeated Kevin Young, who has also picked up a couple of wins this year, to take out our first club challenge on Monday two weeks.
This victory was achieved against a large field in which both Tony and Kev played very well to fight out the final. Tony then followed up with the ClubMulwlala Snooker Club weekly double when he collected our Wednesday night social play event over Nev Page.
Tony’s handicap has had some recent growth but this form will ensure he is back to a lesser number very soon.
Dave is showing the benefit of his practice regime with very consistent form this season.
He was victorious over Debbie Harbrow in round two of the Diggers Tribute last Monday in another heavily populated field and then emulated Cincotta by completing the double last Wednesday over … Tony Cincotta.
Debbie played excellent snooker to reach the final last Monday and Tony continued his great recent form in our social event but Dave was certainly on a mission last week.
The Bruce Bond Trophy is our next event and will be fought this week with the final to be contested on Monday.
Bruce was a deeply respected committee member, player and long serving secretary of our club.
Adding one’s name to the trophy dedicated to Bruce’s contribution is a high priority for all members so a great contest is anticipated.
Picking a winner is always difficult but Kev Young, Darren Edwards, Cincotta and Arazuhaldzic must be considered given their exposed 2024 form.
As can be seen on the ClubMulwala website, its members newsletter and the ClubMulwala Snooker Club Facebook page, the snooker club welcome new members or anyone who may like to give snooker a try.
