The program aims to give girls aged 9 to 16 the opportunity to learn, play, and grow together in a fun and inclusive golf environment — helping to build skills, friendships, and confidence both on and off the course.
Club Tocumwal’s head teaching professional, James McMaster, said the club is thrilled to be involved in the program for 2026.
“We’re really excited to provide this opportunity for local girls,” McMaster said.
“Golf is a sport that builds confidence, focus, and resilience, and this program is a great way for girls to learn and progress together in a really supportive setting.”
Each scholarship recipient will receive 24 weeks of professional coaching over four school terms, complimentary one-year junior membership at Club Tocumwal, a shirt, cap, and glove, as well as expert tuition from head professional McMaster.
Lessons will be held on Saturday mornings at 9am, with six weeks of tuition each term. Participants will learn the fundamentals of golf, gain confidence on the course, and be encouraged to take part in club competitions and social play.
Applications are now open and will close on December 15, 2025. Up to 16 scholarships will be offered.
Interested applicants can visit the Club Tocumwal website for more information and to apply.
