Close wins in midweek games

Despite Mark Quor’s rink being defeated 22 shots to 25, the other two combinations did enough to make sure of the overall victory.

Chris Taylor, Peter Todd, Joanne Bovell and Paul Clear (skip) won their game, 19-16, while Tony Tonta called the shots for Lindsay Franklin, Linda Harris and John Flisher on their way to a good win, 27 shots to 16.

Division 3 maintained their unbeaten run, but only by the skin of their teeth, when they fell over the line against Echuca, 42 shots to 41.

Tony Danckert’s rink was beaten by a solitary shot, but Joy McArthur, Dawn McCulloch, Wayne Bradley and John Murray (skip) won their encounter by two shots to sneak home in a one shot victory.
