The four-day Victorian Junior Amateur golf tournament came to an end on Friday, July 11, with one Cobram-Barooga talent making her mark with an impressive performance.

Casey Chandler, 16, was one of up to 60 girls from across the country who competed in the tournament, finishing the four-day contest 27-over in 20th place overall in the girls’ fixture.
Casey managed to make six birdies and 35 pars.
The Junior Amateur was held across four days at the Cobram-Barooga Golf Club west course (par 72) and the Captains Course at Club Tocumwal.
Casey also participated in the Victorian Junior Masters at the end of last year.
Off the greens, Casey is a talented defender in the Cobram Roar FC division one women’s side.
