A Strathmerton Cricket Club stalwart has been bestowed the highest honour at the club, being made a life member following years of exemplary service at the Bulldogs.

A special ceremony was observed at the weekend to honour Tim Bramich, who was made a life member, joining three other living life members in the exclusive club.
Accompanied by wife Lisa, son Oliver and daughter Lucy, Bramich was presented the honour by Lance Oswald, Luke Carter and Graham Franklin, the three living life members, the trio spoke of Bramich’s commitment to the club, his incredible junior development and many accolades that he has reached along the way.

Having served in a variety of executive roles at the club, including a four-year tenure as president along with stints as secretary and also vice-president, Bramich’s off-field achievements also include the significant feat of bringing junior cricket back to Strathmerton.
Helping to establish a side in the under-12s competition, Bramich coached the under-12 side in both the 2022-23 and 2023-24 side, moving up to helm the under-13 group in 2024-25, while mentoring the juniors in C grade to this day.

Having pulled on the whites for the Bulldogs his entire playing career, Bramich has suited up for over 70 junior games and 200 senior outings at SCC, contributing a plentiful bounty to the trophy cabinets at Strathmerton Recreation Reserve.
Tim Bramich has pulled on the whites for over 200 senior games at Strathmerton, winning three A grade premierships along the way.
A three-time A grade premiership player, Bramich tasted the ultimate success at the highest level in 2006-07, 2009-10 and 2012-13, while also adding the 2003-04 B grade and 1998-99 under-16 flags to his glittering resume.
It comes as no surprise that the long-time servant was also named Cricketer of the Year in both the 2001-02 and 2003-04 seasons, with his impressive collection of accolades making him a fitting recipient of life membership.
