In a game that wasn’t happening this time last week, Rochester made no mistakes against a Kyabram A-grade side that is struggling for personnel.

Early last week, the Bombers announced they did not have the numbers to field an A-grade team for round one, but last minute talks with the league saw Kyabram get a side on the court to give Rochester a game at Kyabram Recreation Reserve.

The match that resulted was a one-sided affair, Rochy clinical in its first hit-out of the season, 87-22.

The Tigers allowed only three goals in the opening period, running up 24 to set the tone for the afternoon, and the lead would surpass 40 by half-time.
