The new club committee will appoint selectors for both the Saturday and Midweek pennant competitions and advised as soon as possible.
The Ladies Autumn Aggregate Tournament is halfway through with the Barooga Yellow team in a strong position however there is still three weeks to go.
The ladies enjoy the tournament and look forward to a similar event in spring.
Medley pairs was played last Tuesday with the following as the winners:
Winners: With three wins were Ken Opray and Jeff Slater.
Runners-up: With two wins Chris Philpot and Geoff Mitchell.
Best first game: Karen and John Bruce.
Best second game: Graham Coban and Ron Dean.
Chris led our well-attended first practice day on Wednesday. and Chris gave his thoughts on what was needed for everyone to do to improve their bowls.
A set of training drills was set out and those attending were walked through them with Chris explaining what was required at each end.
Practice continues every Wednesday at 1pm. and attendance to these training days will see your bowling improve as coach Chris explained.

Keith's Friday was played before the start of the A.G.M. with the winners of the day being Ruth Burnett and Quentin Pettit with plus 16. Runners-up were Carol Cox and Cheryl Merrett with plus 15.
Best first game winners were Peter Lihou and Jo Pettit with plus nine, with Bill Hoog and Graeme Hickey best second game winners with plus six.
In other Barooga Bowls news Des Toohey was awarded the Hawk Award.
The jackpot did not go off and will be worth $75 next Friday.
