The final of the Ladies Club Handicap Singles took place on Saturday morning between Margaret Watson and Lynne Pyke.

Lynne played very well and got a good start on Margaret.
Unfortunately for Margaret the gap was too great even though she was coming back very well in the last few ends.

On Sunday the Recycled Stubbies Day was a great day, with members playing two bowl triples, with each of the three games playing in different positions.
Winners on the day were Ray Ager, Caroline Lewis and Col Hendren.
Second place went to Ian Lewis, Ann Climas and Peter King, and in third was Sue Dawson Lynton Ford and Maureen Hutson.
Mystery prize went to Shane Rosenow, Maree Lewis and Brendon Leach.
After the bowls a lovely lunch was supplied by the catering people.

On Wednesday evening the final of the Business House 4’s winners against Rutherglen Bowling Club and Chiltern Bowling Club.
These games will take place at the Civic Bowls Club and will be preceded by a BBQ meal.
Social bowls is now taking place each Wednesday and Saturday at 10.00am, names to be in by 9.15am.
Col Hendren is still taking entries for the Easter Tournament, entries have been very good, so get in quickly or you could miss out,
Eileen Ide and Annette Norman have been taking entries for the two-day Ladies Fours Tournament on May 6 and 7.

Now that the Pennant Season has finished, we now encourage our members to play Social Bowls Tuesday.
Social Bowls commences at 11am.
The Match Committee will organise Saturday Jackpot Pairs or a mini pennant competition in April - watch this space.
Coaching with Chris Cooney is still available on Wednesday at 4.30pm.
We currently have two new players taking advantage of organised coaching.
General Meeting and Ted Hovard Pennant Player Count/Calcutta is on Saturday, March 22, and commences at 12.30pm.
We need you to indicate your attendance for catering purposes, a list is available on the veranda notice board.
Annual subscriptions can be paid on this day, the match committee can receipt your membership, cash $120.
The new club uniform will be decided at this general meeting.
Club Championship knockout matches are currently being played if you haven't played matches please do so as soon as possible please.
Eddie Burton Open Triples is filling, held on March 29 with a 9.30am start.
The match committee is going to require lots of assistance.

Runners-up on 16 and 16 (32) were Peter Manning, Joan Catlin, and Greg Williamson.
On Tuesday, the winners on 17 and 16 (33) were Joan Catlin, Jan Webber, Merylyn Milthorpe, and Glenda Willett.
Runners-up on 17 and 5 (22) were Bev Barron, Joe Carnivale, Betty Clancy, and Kerry Whalley.
Thursday's winners on 14 and 18 (32) were Ian Day, Naz Carnivale, and Gloria McCuskey, with the runners-up being Betty Clancy, Jan Webber, and Pauline Withers on 15 and 10 (25).
