At just 12 years old Kepler was selected to play in the under-14 Northern Rivers Youth Premier League squad.
The league pits some of the best under-age cricketers in Victoria against each other in Twenty20 and one-day formats across the summer.
Kepler was the only cricketer picked for the team from the Katamatite, Finley and Cobram areas.
The young star finished as the leading wicket taker for the Premier League's Northern Rivers team and was ranked the 11th best cricketer out of the entire under-14s Premier League.
Kepler said he played backyard cricket with his brothers every chance he got, and put his incredible skill down to constant practice.
“I played my first under-12s game when I was four,” Kepler said.
“I also played every game except for one this summer for Katamatite Tigers.”
Katamatite Tigers congratulated Kepler for his outstanding achievements and is supportive of his endeavors.
Following his stint in the Premier League squad, Kepler went on to play for one of the four teams in the Super Series.
The Super Series league is made up of two teams from the country and two teams from the city, meaning spots are limited.
Having played at the bottom of his age group for the Premier League, Kepler will have the opportunity to play for the under-14 team again next year. He will also travel overseas later in the year to play for a Fijian team.
