Northern Rivers Youth Girls Junior Country Week action descended on Mooroopna Recreation Reserve early last week.
Cricket Shepparton, Goulburn Murray Cricket, a combined Murray Valley-Seymour Cricket Association outfit and Bendigo District Cricket Association took part in the tournament, with each team playing four games across the two days.
When the dust settled, Bendigo claimed the crown, defeating GMC 3-97 to 4-94 in the decider.
Bendigo's Mackenzee Porter snared an extra award as player of the grand final, as did Shepparton's Gemma Boyd who was named player of the carnival.
