Hamilton, who races a Nissan Pulsar, was competing in the second round of the Victorian series of the Australian Pulsar Racing Association.
Hamilton started from sixth on the grid after a tough qualifying session where the car’s poor handling nearly saw him spin out in the cold and windy conditions.
Hamilton fought back from the difficult start to finish third in the opening race later in the afternoon.
The following day, Hamilton picked up back-to-back fourth-placed finishes, though he was much happier with the final race where he battled against two other drivers for third place, recording his quickest time of the weekend in the process.
Hamilton’s consistency earned him enough points to place third overall which backs up his round one first-place finish at Sandown in March.
Hamilton will be back at Phillip Island in late June for his next event.
He wished to highlight the ongoing support of his sponsors, including Intune Automotive, Cobram Hire, Vurgel Precision Automotive, Betta Home Living Cobram, Artavilla Emporium, BR & JK and Harris Panel Beating.
Hamilton also launched a new website earlier this month, at benhamiltonracing.wixsite.com
