The event saw performers aged 12 to 18 compete in solo and band categories before a panel of experienced judges.
Local families and music lovers enjoyed an afternoon of live performances, complemented by a free sausage sizzle, fairy floss, snow cones and food trucks.
Campaspe Shire Mayor Cr Daniel Mackrell presented awards to the winners.
First place went to Matilda Altoft from Cobram, with Blake Robinson from Echuca taking second place and Maggie Oliver claiming third.
Harlow Sleeth won Best Young Artist, while Lucy Herberte received a Born n' Bred Recording Studio session.
Showdown at the Soundshell committee member Lisa Smith praised the event's success.
“Showdown at the Soundshell was fantastic,” she said.
“We had a lot of people, with the turnout, more of a festival atmosphere this year.
“Normally, it is sort of family and friends, but now there were more community members and people just interested in listening to a wonderful concert, which it turned out to be.”
Ms Smith highlighted the exceptional talent on display.
“The talent was extraordinary,” she said.
“There was a collegiate attitude between the performers, who were all really beautiful.
“We couldn't be happier with how the event went.”
The competition featured 20 acts.
Winner Matilda Altoft performed 'If I Ain't Got You' by Alicia Keys, followed by 'You Stole the Show' by Sienna Spiro.
“It was both Matilda and Blakes third appearance at Showdown at the Soundshell,” Ms Smith said.
“They grow as young people and performers, and they come back for another go.
Twelve-year-old Harlow Sleeth from Shepparton impressed judges despite her nerves.
“Harlow Sleeth, who won the best young artist, she is 12 years of age, from Shepparton, and it was her first ever live performance,” Ms Smith said.
“She was so incredibly nervous, but the second she hit the stage, it was like she was a pro and did her thing.”
Organises would like to express their thanks to the judging panel of Tamara Opie, Bonnie Verrall and Glenda Bancell, who assessed the performances throughout the afternoon.
The event was presented in partnership with the Girgarre Development Group, Gargarro Botanic Gardens and Campaspe Shire Council, with additional support from Born n' Bred Australian Red Dirt and funding through the Victorian Government's Amplify Program.
