Despite a little bit of rain, the Cobram Lions’ twilight market on Friday, December 19 attracted many locals who enjoyed music, food, a Christmas raffle and a variety of stalls.

Cobram Lions chairperson Janet Austin said it was a “successful evening”.
“Santa was popular and the Cobram Pipe Band was great,” she said.

“It was wonderful to hear ACDC’s Highway to Hell being played by the bagpipes in person.
“Thank you to the Pipe Band and Nicky Goldsworthy for the music and to our intrepid stall holders who carried on trading despite the heat, the wind and the rain.”
The market will be on again in January, hopefully with nicer weather.
