Strathmerton Football Netball Club recently held its junior night of nights, recognising the highest achieving players across the youth divisions.

In the thirds, Matt Price took out the best-and-fairest, ahead of runner-up Haydn Wyatt. The ever-dependable Mitch Payne was recognised for his efforts and was awarded the most consistent, while the most determined went to Zack Cunningham. Beau Hall was seen to have made the most ground across the year and was named most improved, while William Large and Dylan Craven shared the coach's award.
Ben Lee Madgwick was awarded best-in-finals in the fourths, while a massive year with the boot saw Josh Payne snare the leading goal kicking award as well as taking out the most consistent gong. Brodie Wren's bravery across the season earned him the most determined award, while Sid McNeil, Ryan Wyatt and Jackson Webb were presented the most improved, coach's award and best first-year trophies respectively.
In the netball, 17-and-under starlet Alyssa Crestani was named the best-and-fairest in the side, just ahead of Tessa Koopman. Olivia Brincatt went home with the most improved award.
Sarah Brooks was named the best and fairest for the 15-and-under outfit, ahead of Kiera Henderson, while Mackenzie Stephens and Talia Woodland left with the respective most consistent and most improved awards.
And, in the 13-and-under grade, Caitlyn Brooks was rewarded for her performances throughout the year with the best and fairest award, while Dakota Kelly and Indiana Ashcroft finished as runners up.
