The exchange students, aged from four to 12, are from Shanghai, China’s second most populated city with a population greater than Australia and more than 4300 times greater than Cobram.
School principal Lucy Keath said her students have loved having the visitors at the school.
“It gives (the exchange students) the opportunity to learn more about our culture and experience school in a rural Australian community,” she said.
“They have been involved in a lot of activities around the school and in the community.
“As well as allowing them to learn more about our culture, it is also gives them a chance for them to improve their English.”
“The kids are friendly and the class and playground is good,” exchange student Xinle `Roy' Yu said.
Tian Cheng `Tim' Wang added: “The food is also good.”
