From 5pm to 9pm, the splash park and Visitor Information Precinct will come alive with a line-up of exciting activities for all ages.
Families can enjoy live music from the talented Adam Toms, a free community barbecue prepared by Benalla Rotary, and a free screening of Disney’s Hocus Pocus (PG) at Benalla Cinema.
For the first time this season, the splash park will also be open, offering plenty of splashing fun.
Festival chair Cr Justin King said the launch was a perfect way to bring the community together.
“The Benalla Festival is all about celebrating what makes Benalla such a vibrant and welcoming community,” Cr King said.
“Our Spooktacular Launch combines family-friendly entertainment, food, music and a little Halloween magic — there’s something for everyone to enjoy.”
Cr King encouraged residents and visitors to get involved and make the most of the night.
“It’s a free event designed for the whole community,” he said.
“Whether you’re coming to enjoy the music, the movie, or just soak up the festive atmosphere, we can’t wait to see everyone there.”
The 2025 Benalla Festival runs until November 9 with a diverse program of events celebrating local culture, creativity and community spirit.
