She enthralled the audience with an entertaining talk about her latest work, A Farming Life.
This book is a collection of stories about rural women and has been receiving rave reviews from readers and critics alike.
Harfull's previous book delved into the surprising history of the CWA of New South Wales and was published last year to coincide with the centenary of the organisation.
After the talk, the patrons were treated to a lovely afternoon tea supplied by the Finley CWA, making it a memorable event for all who attended.
The Berrigan Shire Library Service has already planned another author visit for International Women's Day in March next year.
It is sure to be another exciting event for book lovers.
