There will be a great display of members’ quilts showcasing their skills and talents.
Visitors will have the opportunity to vote for the quilt they like the best.
This year, the featured displays, which will be on the stage, will be Christmas items, hexagon quilts, dyed fabric, a few special woollen items and much more.
One of our members will be demonstrating traditional patchwork and quilting, and another member demonstrating non-traditional, improvisational art patchwork and quilting.
They will be more than happy to share their knowledge with visitors.
Members will welcome and chat with visitors as well as being there to answer any questions.
This year the group will welcome Victorian Quilters president Judith Oke, from Melbourne, who will be visiting the exhibition on Saturday.
South Fabrics from Echuca, Catharina’s Vintage Stitches Kyabram and Buttons n More will have pop-up shops at the exhibition, with EFTPOS available.
Club members’ trading tables will only accept cash.
The raffle’s first prize is a queen size ‘Lumina Feathered Star’ designed by Judy Niemeyer.
The second prize is another beautiful quilt.
Entry is $6 and raffle tickets are $2. Food and refreshments will be available to purchase for cash, including sandwiches, cakes, tea and coffee.
This event is proudly supported by Moira Shire.
