There was a cosy twist on Thursday, July 2, as students arrived in their pyjamas for a fundraiser supporting the Year 5 and 6 Canberra excursion.
A gold coin donation helped boost the tally, alongside a $1 colouring‑in competition, with the winner taking home a $10 canteen voucher.
Year 5 and 6 students also kept everyone warm at lunchtime, selling hot chocolates to round out a fun final day before the holidays.
On Friday, attentions turned to NAIDOC Week celebrations.
With the annual week of recognition starting Sunday and running in the school holidays, the school chose to mark the week early.
Art and nature activities were enjoyed as a way of learning about local culture and the significance of NAIDOC Week.
