Cobram local Connie Fazzolari organised the pink-themed afternoon and said she was “amazed” by the $7573 raised.
“It was booked out, all 100 of our tickets sold,” Connie said.
“The raffles were amazing, the donations that businesses and even individuals donated towards that was just brilliant.
“I am honestly gob-smacked ... our community is amazing.”

Connie said she was lucky to have friends and family helping her put it all together ― giving special mention to Grace and Renee Fazzolari, Rosemarie Violi, Teresa Grillo, Grace Muckenthaler, Samantha Ballerini and Mikayla Burgess.
“It’s definitely not a one-person mission; it’s something that you need to have a great little group helping you with,” she said.
“It was all worth it, so happy with the result, and we got great feedback from people who really enjoyed the afternoon.
“If it wasn’t for everyone who helped, it wouldn’t have come together the way that it did.”

Connie said Cobram’s Future Fitness donated $50 for the lucky door prize and the food was donated by local businesses.
The afternoon also included a moving talk from a guest speaker who told his story of how cancer had affected many members of his family.
Many games were played at the party alongside the afternoon tea, with one being a lollipop tree where guests had to guess the number of lollipops.
“The photo booth was a big hit, people were having a ball with that, and we had the hope tree that they could write their little messages on,” Connie said.
“It was a success, everyone turned up in pink, which was fantastic, the room was all pink ― I've never seen so much pink in my whole life.”
The photo booth, donated by Cobram Party Hire, was a ‘huge hit’ at the party.
