Ms Wright has worked as a podiatrist in Cobram for the past five years.
“I love Cobram and that's why I'm setting up here,” she said.
“This is where I want to be — the people are amazing.”
Moira Podiatry will be located at Cobram's Proactive Physiotherapy Clinic.
Ms Wright said there was a high demand for a podiatry service in the area.
“We're lower limb experts, particularly the foot and ankle,” she said.
“It's a really good job where people can actually talk to me about a problem and walk out with a solution.
“We're hands on and can fix things straight away.”
Originally from Corowa, Ms Wright is living in Mulwala.
She is looking forward to launching her first business.
“If the need arises, I want to reach as many people who need help as possible,” she said.
“You don't know you need a podiatrist until something is wrong and then all of a sudden you can't do anything because your feet are out of commission.”
Moira Podiatry will provide general treatment, home visits, diabetic foot management, nail surgery, children's foot treatment and foot and ankle pain relief.
The business will open on Friday, July 2. Appointments can be made now.
