Moggs Accounting + Advisory has won the 2025 Barry Lambert award, rubber-stamping its exceptional commitment to community and volunteer work in the 2024/25 financial year.
Every year, staff at the firm volunteer over 3900 hours to sporting clubs and local charities, while also supporting local community groups.
Chief executive Sharon Postlethwaite said the award was recognition that the firm’s work in the community was important.
“It is wonderful to be able to give back in whatever way we can,” she said.
“One of the community projects that we are most proud of lately is being able to donate towards the Royal Flying Doctor Service to enable them to keep their cars maintained. It may not seem like a big deal, but to those people relying on the cars to take them to appointments, it is crucial.”
Senior staff at Moggs Accounting + Advisory accepted the award, shared with Mornington-based firm Smart Business Solutions Group, at the 2025 Count.ed conference on Hamilton Island earlier in September.
As a winner, Moggs Accounting + Advisory will nominate a charity to receive a $5000 donation through the Count Charitable Foundation.
Also named a finalist in the 2025 Count Equity Partner Awards, the firm was nominated for the 2025 Count Firm of the Year for its dedication to its clients and professionalism.
