Seven double bedrooms were converted into single bedrooms with private ensuites, accompanied by a new kitchenette, upgraded fixtures and a circular corridor designed to promote resident movement.
NCN director of clinical services Carolyn Hargreaves said it was a fantastic addition to the health service that would benefit the whole community.

The Numurkah upgrade was funded through the Rural Residential Aged Care Facilities Renewal Program, which helps rural and regional residential aged care to invest in modern equipment and infrastructure.
