Moira Shire Council is inviting community members to provide feedback on its draft Municipal Public Health and Wellbeing Plan 2025-2029, with consultation sessions and surveys closing this month.
Council chair administrator Graeme Emonson said the feedback would help council refine what mattered most to the community.
“Health and wellbeing are something we build together as a community, so we encourage everyone in the community to read the draft plan and share their feedback,” he said.
The plan builds on three themes related to public health and wellbeing: healthy and empowered, safe and inclusive, and liveable and thriving.
A drop-in session will be held in Nathalia on Tuesday, September 9 from 11am to 1pm, at the Rotunda.
In Numurkah, another drop-in session will be held on Thursday, September 11, from 12pm-2pm at Newman Square.
Consultation on the plan closes on Thursday, September 18.
