On the track at Flemington, it’s all about the fillies and mares, and around Yarrawonga Mulwala, it was a celebration of style and elegance.
In typical Oaks Day style, the day was awash with a sea of florals and colour, ruffles, fascinators and impossibly high heels.
The belles of the Melbourne Cup were Sharlene Dyer, Millinery Award; Barbara Handrey, Judges Award; Lesley Spiteri, Runner Up and Karen Jones, Fashions on the Field winner.
