Berrigan Racecourse came alive on Saturday for the annual ‘Members & Patrons’ race day, with perfect weather setting the tone for a brilliant afternoon of country racing.

The sunshine highlighted the beautifully presented grounds, which drew praise from both locals and visitors alike.
Racegoers were treated to high-quality fields across all events, with strong nominations ensuring competitive racing throughout the day.
The calibre of horses and trainers on course reflected the growing reputation of Berrigan’s meetings, with several trainers travelling from as far south as Melbourne to enjoy the relaxed country hospitality.
The atmosphere on course was one of warmth and celebration, with members and patrons turning out to support the club.
From the well-kept lawns to the friendly track side facilities, everything combined to showcase the very best of country racing in the Southern Districts.
Adding to the excitement in town, the Lexus Melbourne Cup Tour will soon be making its way to Berrigan on Sunday, October 5th.
The famous Cup will be on display at the Berrigan Agricultural Show during the day, giving locals and visitors an opportunity to see the iconic trophy up close.
The celebrations will continue into the evening with a special event organised by the Berrigan & District Race Club at the Berrigan Community Golf and Bowling Club, featuring dinner and guest speakers from the racing industry.
