Though over 17,000km from the homeland, Irish culture was proudly on show in Tongala on St Patrick’s Day.

St Patrick’s Primary School was awash with green on Tuesday, March 17, as special activities ran throughout the day.

A parade started the celebrations, where students and staff showed off their inspired green outfits.

The school then came together for an exciting sports carnival featuring energetic relay races, spirited tug-of-war competitions and the beloved giant rainbow parachute.
