Get your vocal cords and dancing shoes ready, the 2025 Community Chritmas Carols by Candlelight schedule is set for the Deniliquin Waring Gardens this Friday.

Coordinated by the Rotary Club of Deniliquin, supported by Edward River Council and sponsored by SunRice, it’s one of the biggest community events of the year.
Edward River Council community development and events officer Brooke Doughty said the evening will be compèred by Rotarian Ange Parker, with performing artists to include Sing Australia, Edward River Concert Band, Lachlan McIntyre, Con Spirito Voices & The Gents, Christian and Luciano Ruiz, Serhiy Strazhnik, Emma Marona and The Maddison Moonlight Orchestra.
Also included as part of the evening will be the Mayor’s Christmas address, and messages from Deniliquin Mental Health Awareness Group and Deniliquin Baptist Church Pastor Chris Taylor.
Local group The Gents will add their voices to carols.
Winners of the Deniliquin Pastoral Times’ Think B4U Click major prize draw and the Deniliquin Business Chamber’s Deni Lights Up competition will also be announced.
A fireworks display will conclude the festivities, weather permitting.
The 2025 SunRice Carols by Candlelight is free to attend, and is always a great family-friendly evening.
Before you settle down for some singing, you can enjoy all the fun and festivities the Edward River Community Christmas Party offers.
There will be a petting zoo, inflatable rides, kids’ crafts and face painting, food and refreshment stalls and even a special visit from Santa.
The Christmas Party begins at 6pm, and carols are expected to be wrapped up by 9pm.
Serhiy Strazhnik and Christian and Luciana Ruiz are all on the carols bill.
