Now in its 36th year, the expo remains a standout event on the agricultural calendar, reflecting the strength, creativity and adaptability of our farming community.
Each year the expo brings together an impressive mix of exhibitors, producers and industry experts, offering practical ideas, new technologies and fresh perspectives on the challenges and opportunities facing agriculture today.
Whether you are deeply embedded in the industry or simply keen to learn more, the program offers something to inform and inspire.
The event is also a celebration of Seymour and the Goulburn region.
Local producers will once again highlight the quality of our food and wine, while nearby businesses, cafés and accommodation providers are ready to welcome visitors throughout the weekend.
It is a great chance to explore the town, reconnect with familiar faces and enjoy everything the area has to offer.
For those visiting from outside the shire, I encourage you to take the time to discover Seymour beyond the expo gates.
The Discover Mitchell Instagram and Facebook pages and the visitor information booth at site T11A are a great place to start.
As anyone who knows Seymour will tell you, the weather can keep us on our toes, so it is worth packing for a bit of everything.
I extend my sincere thanks to the volunteers, organisers and community members whose commitment and hard work continue to make this event possible.
Their efforts ensure the expo remains a valued and enduring part of our region.
I hope you enjoy your time at the 36th Seymour Alternative Farming Expo, and I look forward to welcoming you to Mitchell Shire.
