Follow a beautiful trail of art, crafts and creativity this August with the Community River Arts Art Trail event on Saturday, August 15.

Community River Arts secretary and treasurer Fiona Hackett said they were excited to expand the event from six locations last year to 11 this year.
Visitors are free to start and finish the trail wherever they choose, exploring galleries, community halls and home studios.
Ms Hackett said the group was also grateful for support from the Apex Club, which had allowed them to advertise the event more widely this year.
“This is the second time we’ve held the event in the region, with a concept similar to an open garden where studio spaces, halls and exhibitions are open to the public,” she said.
“The Cobram Spinners and Weavers will demonstrate and display a fantastic range of winter crafts made from wool and fabric at the Yarroweyah Memorial Hall.
“There will also be a number of additional crafters in the hall with demonstrations and sales tables.”
A variety of local produce will be available along the trail.

The trail includes the Finley Arts Network Gallery, the Cobram Men's Shed and an expanded range of established artists and crafters at the Tocumwal and Yarroweyah halls, as well as home studios across the Berrigan and Moira shires.
Visitors will discover a diverse range of artwork and handmade creations, including flower arrangements, recycled timber products, local produce, paintings, resin art, pottery, mosaics, macramé, handmade cards, pastels and many other crafts.
“They will all be displaying a wealth of creativity, which will make this one-day event a must-see,” Ms Hackett said.
The Cobram Lions Club Art Exhibition will also feature on the trail, showcasing entries from upcoming young artists competing in the peace poster competition.
Tickets are $25 and include refreshments and lunch at nominated venues listed on the trail map.
Signage will be displayed on recycle bins generously donated by the Berrigan Shire Council and repainted by Community River Arts members.
Each location will have parking for visitors with good access to the exhibition spaces.
