The Echuca-Moama and Districts Probus Club held its Annual General Meeting at its usual venue, the Rich River Golf Club, on Monday, March 25.
Family, illness and appointments play a large part in meetings like this, with fewer people than the club hoped for turning up.
Reports were received from all the outgoing committee members.
Then, the rest of the meeting was chaired by Lyndon Gregory, who introduced the new committee and handed it over to the new president Kaye McFarlane.
Mrs McFarlane then presented the new committee members with their badges and thanked outgoing president Ray Carr for his work.
She made an introductory speech and, in doing so, pointed out to Mr Carr that for the next year there would be no derogatory mention of Collingwood as the entire top table comprises Magpie supporters.
After a bit of a chat, all members were served a light lunch by club staff, which, by all accounts, was an ample and very nice meal.
