Legacy Week runs from Monday, August 31, to Friday, September 4, and is the Kyabram Legacy Group’s only fundraising event for the year.
Volunteer sellers will have the regular selection of badges, pens and a range of teddy bears dressed in armed services uniforms.
Sellers will be stationed in Kyabram outside Woolworth’s, outside Collies Pharmacy early in the week and Ritchies IGA later in the week, as well as at Miles Gould’s Ky Lucky Lotto and the Kyabram Newsagency.
At Tongala, Daryl Reid and his team will be outside the IGA supermarket all week.
“The support from people all around the district has been wonderful for many years and this includes service clubs across the district,” Kyabram Group chairperson John Lilford said.
“We look forward to the continued generosity of our community again this year that enables the Legacy care to continue.”
Lone Pine ceremonies have been a highlight during Legacy Week for more than 25 years and this year the tradition continues.
On Wednesday, September 2, St Augustine’s will host a service at 10am while on Thursday, September 3, Kyabram P-12 will host a service at 12.30pm.
