The event began with a community walk starting from Waring Gardens, crossing the bridge and looping through Edwardes St, George St, Napier St, and Cressy St, before returning to the park.
Along the route, participants were met with signage displaying support services and practical ways to help someone experiencing depression, reinforcing the message that suicide is preventable.
Lunch afterwards was a chance to connect, reflect, and share stories, before a second walk continuing the theme of visibility and solidarity.
