Deniliquin and district businesses have made a strong showing at the 2025 Business NSW Riverina Murray Business Awards.

Locals featured in 15 categories at the Griffith ceremony held on Friday, September 19, with some taking out regional wins.
Many of the finalists earned their place after standout performances at the Deniliquin Business Chamber’s August Business Excellence Awards, and their success has now been recognised on a broader stage.
Deniliquin Business Chamber president Angela Parker attended the event and commended all local businesses.
“Deniliquin was very well represented,” she said.
“It was a fantastic night, great for networking, and was really well received.”
Deni nominee DeniSPOT won the regional award for Outstanding New Business.
And The Depot claimed the title for Outstanding Visitor Experience, reinforcing Deniliquin’s reputation for innovation and tourism appeal.
They will go on, with other regional winners, to contest the Business NSW State Business Awards, to be held at the ICC in Sydney on October 29.
“It’s wonderful for our region having local businesses represent at the state awards night,” Mrs Parker said.
Two local nominees were also honoured with highly commended citations.
Intereach received a highly commended in the Employer of Choice (21+ Employees) category, and Vicky Lowry from Deni Play on the Plains Festival Ltd was highly commended in the Outstanding Business Leader (20 Employees and Under).
“It’s so good that Vicky Lowry and Intereach were acknowledged, they definitely deserve it,” Mrs Parker said.
Business NSW Riverina Murray regional director Serena Hardwick praised the calibre of businesses across the entire region.
“The business awards allow us to celebrate the success of business right across our region and share the stories of our finalists and winners far and wide,” she said.
“We have a cohort of excellent businesses to represent the Riverina Murray at the NSW Business Awards, and I have no doubt our region will once again perform well.”
Other nominees from Deniliquin at the regional business awards included Deni Play On The Plains Festival Ltd (two award categories), Deniliquin RSL Club, Cherrywood Emporium, Deni Golf Resort (two award categories), Rotary Club Deniliquin, Deniliquin Veterinary Clinic, Rob Brown from Peppin Family Consulting, Jessica Kitchin from Highlight Creative, and John Arthur from Deniliquin Stadium.
Deniliquin Business Chamber, Edward River Council and Deni Ute Muster were also jointly nominated in the Outstanding Visitor Economy Collaboration for last year’s Spirit of the Muster event.
