Twinkling displays transform ordinary streets into sparkling wonderlands, evoking a sense of warmth and nostalgia.
Each home tells its own story - some simple and elegant, others bursting with colour and creativity.
Looking at Christmas lights isn’t just about visual delight - it’s about feeling connected to the spirit of giving and the simple pleasures that make this time of year so special.
This year, more than 30 have chosen to share that joy with the Deniliquin district community through the annual Deniliquin Business Chamber Deni Lights Up competition.
They are all included on a handy map in the centre of this edition, so you can take them all in.
Some are there simply to ‘spread the joy’, while others will be vying for the great prizes up for grabs.
In the residential competition, sponsored by Ray White Deniliquin, a $400 Why Leave Town local gift card is first prize, and a $100 card for the runner-up.
Through a lucky draw, another $100 gift card will be gifted to an entrant.
The best retail/professional business will receive an advertising package worth $1000, split evenly between sponsors Deniliquin Pastoral Times and 2QN/Edge FM.
The new industrial/trade display category is sponsored by Deni Golf Resort and Deniliquin Golf Club, with the $490 prize being a stay and play package for four.
Official and ‘Just spreading the joy’ entrants are all eligible for the people’s choice prize - worth $500 and sponsored by Harvey Norman.
Check the map for details on how to vote, and go in the running for a Deni Ute Muster ticket and prize pack.
