Four new inductees will be added to the 16-strong list of hall of famers at the event at Cobram Barooga Golf Club.
A highlight of the event will be the introduction of one new legend to the board, who will join Jerilderie’s Mark Baldwin in leather and willow’s elite status.
Organiser Wes Sutton was looking forward to new members being received as well as paying tribute to the association’s historic timeline.
“The Hall of Fame recognises achievements of their clubs over the years, it basically brings history to the table,” he said.
“The presentation is about acknowledging cricketers from past eras that have been star players, but it also includes off-field contributions such as umpires.
“It is terrific for the community.”
Having existed for a decade, the hall of fame includes clubs which not only compete in the Murray Valley Cricket Association currently, but also those which have been a part of the competition previously.
Hosted by Michael Butler and Dennis Burton, the event will feature keynote speaker Les Hocking and will honour icons within the association as well as its rich history.
Sutton encouraged all who interested in taking part in this landmark occasion to come along and participate.
