They also need to have an eligible concession entitlement such as: a pension concession card, Jobseeker, Youth Allowance, Abstudy, Austudy, DVA pensioners concession card, or a DVA gold card.

Nationals Member for Ovens Tim McCurdy said the payments has not been promoted to eligible recipients “at all.”

“It is important that those who are eligible are made aware and receive their power saving bonus,” he said.

“The program is open now and is available until 31 January, 2022, and I encourage everyone who holds an eligible concession card to apply.

“It only takes about five minutes to apply, but if you have any difficulty, call our office (5721 6155) for assistance,” Mr McCurdy said.
